Poem on Anzac day

Anzac  Day

W.A.L.T: Write a poem
Poppies still blow where we fought remembering the 39 men and 1 woman from the west coast .
Who died in war they still lying the with a white cross by their head.
They lay there silent and dead for us to remember them today there are poppies there waving left then right remembering the deafening sound of bombs, guns and the sound of crying.
When you see the people march that's what they want you to remember.

They want us to remember that they gave their lives to save ours.

That is such an amazing poem. I really love all the descriptive words you have used to really paint a picture about what war was like. It is such a powerful poem that makes you respect our soldiers.
